New research rapport published

Filip Verneert and Jan Verbeeck examined 12 to 14 year old students’ experiences during a lesson in collective free improvisation. They describe the results alongside a sketch of the broad importance of music and improvisation in compulsory education. In the second part, teachers can find four ready-to-use lessons and 15 improvisation exercises. For their information, the corresponding curriculum goals in the curricula for Flemish secondary education are mentioned as well. [Dutch only] Free download on music
